What are five simple exercises to do at home?

This question made me laugh.

Apparently, the answer is supposed to be something like squats, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges and jumping jacks.

But when you ask me?

I have a tractor tyre at home that I can flip.

I have 16kg kettlebells that I can carry in each hand.

I have a barbell for lunges.

I have battle ropes.

And yes, I even have a treadmill for the cooldown.

So my version of a “simple home workout” might be slightly different. 😂

I could literally walk into my own home gym and decide:

“Right, let’s flip a tyre.”

Who needs complicated when you’ve got a tractor tyre sitting there waiting for you?

Maybe the five simplest exercises for me are:

Squats
Glute bridges
Push-ups
Step-ups
Marching on the spot

Or
Tyre flips.
Farmer’s carries.
Barbell lunges.
Battle ropes.
Treadmill.

Simple?

Well… maybe not for everyone. 😂

But they’re simple enough when they’re already sitting there waiting for me.

And that’s probably the real lesson: use what you have, move your body, and keep showing up.
