If I Had Unlimited Budget For 24 Hours

Daily writing prompt
If you had an unlimited budget for 24 hours, what would you do?

If I had an unlimited budget for 24 hours, the first thing I’d do is buy my dream house — somewhere peaceful, full of light, creativity, and enough space to truly breathe. A place that feels like safety, healing, and freedom all in one.

But I couldn’t enjoy all of that knowing so many people are struggling just to survive. I’d buy homes for the homeless, open a large shelter with proper storage, warm beds, food, clean water, and support for people who’ve been forgotten or pushed aside by society. Everyone deserves dignity.

There would definitely be a cattery too — a safe place for abandoned and rescued cats to be cared for, loved, and rehomed. Because animals need compassion just as much as people do.

And finally, I would publish everything I’ve written over the years. Every poem, every thought, every unfinished piece hidden away in notebooks or drafts. No more waiting for the “perfect time.” Just sharing the words and trusting they’ll reach the people who need them.

Maybe that’s what unlimited money really reveals — not greed, but the size of your heart.
